President´s Corner
July 2006
 The 2006 Annual Meeting and associated activities this past April were a huge success. I wish to thank all of the Homeowners who attended the Annual Meeting and took the time to voice your opinions and concerns. The open forum portion of the meeting was designed just for that purpose.
During this meeting, two new Board members were seated. Mr. Walter Fournier representing District 7 and Mr. Daniel Vasse representing the Commercial District. We welcome these two community leaders to our Board.
Subsequent to the annual meeting, Ms. Lilliam Morales and Mr. Alfonso Lozada unfortunately resigned their Board positions.
I am pleased to present two new Board members; Ms. Rita Molinelli, replacing Ms. Lilliam Morales who moved from Voting District 8. Ms. Molinelli will interim serve until the 2007 Annual Meeting and Mr. Joseph Maqueda, replacing Mr. Alfonso Lozada who resigned from Voting District 3 due to his heavy work and travel schedule. Mr. Maqueda will also interim serve until the 2007 Annual Meeting. On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Lilliam and Alfonso for their many contributions and welcome to the Board, Rita and Joe.
Our beautiful Palmas del Mar is the perfect place to spend the summer vacation with your family - enjoy all there is to offer. As you read in the minutes of our Annual Meeting and will see in this Newsletter, the PHA continues to work hard to secure Palmas as a fun place and a safe place for you and your loved ones to live.
